Today we went on a tour of Super Dome, at the meeting Leah passed around a copy of an information booklet to everyone. If you were absent ask Leah for your copy As for the marketing problem, Leah will need to meet Super Dome for more details. The marketing problem will be along the lines of: How to promote Super Dome with a limited budget --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Department Brief *Events Department Justin has put together a brief report of his work over the week. If you were absent ask Leanne for a copy. the short report had details of Coke, Prices list for sausage sizzle in which everyone will need to put in $5.00 each for the sausages and donate an onion each to make the day work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------JUSTIN- *Treasurer Department Andrew has made an account under the name of "reseach group". There are 2 key cards in which Andrew and Leah will keep. We can start depositing money now, receipts must be photocopied and given to Andrew for the record. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------ANDREW- *Fundraising Department Chocolate money bought on the day was given to Leah. If you still haven't handed in your chocolate money, Thursday meeting on the 17/04 is the deadline. For the sausage sizzle we may make a deal of a Sausage sizzle and a drink for $3.00. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Research Department Nadia is still working on a time table. We should all try to think of some options for Super Dome's problem of how to promote themselves with a limited budget to put together in a brainstorm on Thursday meeting on the 17th, this comming Thursday. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------NADIA- *Secretary Department A new format for every minutes as of today for easier reading. ------------------------------------------------------------------------LEANNE-&-ANN- 3. Aloe drink store All 192 bottles where sold in 1 hours. People bought single bottles or a case of 12 bottles. A single bottle was sold for $1.10 and a case was $11.00. As for consumers. The people who bought cases were mostly asian and people who bought individual bottles were of various ethinicity. We will most probably be selling this drink during our sausage sizzle among our other drinks. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------MAY- 4. Logo We have chosen a logo design by Ann, which consists of a light bulb with the letter M inside with the letter F on the left and S on the right. Fundraising to continue over the holiday Thursday the 17th meeting is the deadline for chocolate money, to be given to Jenny. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6. Work to be done over the holidays There is a meeting this Thursday on the 17th, first week of our break. We will all meet at the front of the library. Because it is the holidays, this is non compulsary, BUT if you haven't handed in your chocolate money you should attend, as this is the main purpose of the meeting.
